Cambodia March

Spring Break Cambodia: March 11-24 (16 days)

Loop Abroad’s Spring Break Cambodia trip will be a service adventure. We will split our time between helping to build the new Elephant Nature Park, teaching English at an orphanage outside of Phnom Penh, and discovering the culture of Cambodia through the exploration of places such as Angkor Wat.

Departs: Saturday, March 11th from Boston, MA

Returns: Sunday, March 24th to Boston, MA

Itinerary: We will fly from Boston to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. From there, we will take a few days to get oriented to Cambodian culture. Our time in Phnom Penh includes a visit to The Killing Fields and the Royal Palace. Once oriented, we will spend 4 days volunteering in the SCAO orphanage, teaching 3 English classes per day and working one-on-one with the children there. From Phnom Penh, we will travel to Siem Reap.

We will spend a day visiting Angkor Wat, and then head to the Elephant Nature Park (located 45 minutes outside of Siem Reap) to volunteer for 4 days. We will return to Phnom Penh and spend the end of our trip exploring Cambodian culture along the Mekong River.
