We’re extremely excited to show you what Northern Thailand has to offer. Chiang Mai is like a second home to a number of our Loop Abroad staff, and is home to two of our full-time staff.

This cosmopolitan city offers supreme cultural exposure in a safe, comfortable environment. It serves as a center for ecotourism, and is only a short ride from some of the most splendid rain forests and other habitats on Earth.

In addition, it provides for opportunities to observe and participate in hands-on conservation projects. Thailand's struggles with the after-effects of the logging industry and the preservation of its natural lands in the face of farming needs provide the perfect backdrop to learn about conservation.
