Senior Guide, Interpreter

Chang has over ten years experience as a tour guide in Northern Thailand. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and his native Thai language.

Mr. Wiratkasem attended Chiang Mai University in Chiang Mai and received a BA in mass communications and English.

Chang has in-depth experience in nearly every facet of tourism in Thailand.

His work often places him at the helm, leading large treks on foot into the Thai jungle.

He also frequently works one-on-one with visiting naturalists, guiding their exploration of Northern Thailand.

For our 2011 Initiative Chang will serve as our Senior Guide in the field and work with our visiting faculty and Academic Director on site selection and fieldwork preparation to ensure that we are making the most of our treks and jungle excursions.

In addition to his role as our senior guide, he will also serve as one of our full-time interpreters for the program.
