Ana Villada Rosales, DVM
Veterinarian
Ana María Villada Rosales leads instruction for the Costa Rica Wildlife Rescue Internship, one of Loop Abroad’s online internships provided over Zoom. She is a veterinarian at the Toucan Rescue Ranch in Costa Rica where she oversees the clinic and overall treatments of injured animals. She also manages the caretaking of the sloths and their advancements within the Saving Sloths Together program.
Dr Ana graduated from veterinarian school from the Universidad de Guadalajara, Mexico, and has a Master’s in Conservation Medicine from Murdoch University, Australia. She worked with wildlife at zoological collections in Mexico and rescue centers in Australia before joining the Toucan Rescue Ranch in Costa Rica.
