Anna DeVincenzi, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Anna DeVincenzi grew up in the Bay Area and always knew that animal welfare would be an important part of her life. After working with seals and sea lions at the Long Marine Lab in Santa Cruz, in addition to dogs and cats at the Peninsula Humane Society in San Mateo, she realized that veterinary school was her dream. In 2005, Dr. Anna graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. Since then Dr. Anna has lived and worked in San Francisco at various small animal practices. In 2019, Dr. Anna and her husband moved to San Pedro, Belize, where she worked as the sole veterinarian on the small remote island. While she mostly treated dogs and cats, she also was lucky enough to treat a raccoon, a ferret, and an injured crocodile (which was quite exhilarating)! Most recently, Dr. Anna volunteered with a veterinary organization in Tanzania, providing training to local veterinarians and veterinary assistants, in addition to providing free community spay/neuter/vaccination clinics. This work really solidified the importance of One Health and Dr. Anna plans to continue participating in important programs such as this in the future. In her spare time, Dr. Anna likes to explore the world with her husband, scuba dive in tropical locations, hike and camp, listen to live music, dance, and snuggle with her sweet dog and cat, Winnie and Larkin.
