Bria Andersen

Bria was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, and is beginning her first year of veterinary school in September 2024. Bria has had a passion for animals and veterinary medicine for her entire life and is interested in the fields of emergency and specialty medicine, as well as rehabilitation and prosthetic design. Bria also has a passion for wildlife medicine and has worked at multiple exotic and wildlife veterinary institutions, including a koala burn and electrocution hospital in Costa Rica, an avian trauma centre in Vancouver, and during elephant medicine and prosthetic design internships out of Thailand. Currently, Bria enjoys working as a veterinary assistant at a level-one trauma veterinary hospital, listening to true-crime podcasts, and hiking with her dog, Pekoe.
