Carrie Bunger, DVM

While Carrie currently calls Madison, Wisconsin her home, she has resided in Nebraska, Indiana and Montana. After graduating from Concordia College (Moorhead, MN) with a major in Biology and minors in Chemistry and Psychology, she moved to Madison, Wisconsin and spent several years working in research labs. Always wanting to be a veterinarian, she returned to school and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-School of Veterinary Medicine in 2010.

After graduation, Dr. Carrie has mainly worked in general practice with dogs, cats and pocket pets but also has experience in ER medicine and anesthesia/analgesia. Most recently, she worked at a feline exclusive practice and has always had an affinity for the feline patient (large and small)!

Her interests include running (especially with her dog), swimming, quilting, fishing, Wisconsin sports and traveling. Some of the places she has visited include South Africa, Argentina, Chile, Canada, France, and, most recently, Australia where she went scuba diving along the Great Barrier Reef. She shares her home with one husband, one dog (Ubu) and two cats (Striker! and Vinnie).
