Cecile Mercado, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Mercado is currently a small animal veterinarian in Los Angeles, CA. She did a small animal and exotics internship after graduating from Western University in 2016. She has also worked with Loop Abroad in Thailand during the summers of 2016 and 2017. During vet school she did various rotations at zoos and marine parks. Her goal is to eventually work at a wildlife or marine rehabilitation center. At home she has one cat named Roey that unfortunately has HCM (hypertrophic cardiomyopathy) but is doing very well with medications. On her time off she enjoys traveling as much as possible, hiking, the beach, going to the movies and spending time with friends.
