Christina Fenske, DVM

Veterinarian

Christina is originally from Michigan and got her first degree in business administration, which she utilized as a manager and team leader in a human healthcare office. After several years, she came to realize that she no longer felt challenged or fulfilled in that role. Christina has always been passionate about animals and their welfare, so she decided to make a big change and went on to study veterinary medicine at Michigan State University.

During vet school, Christina developed a strong interest in teaching and tutored underclassman in anatomy, physiology, and pathology. She has many interests and has worked with a variety of animals including exotics, wildlife, and farm stock. Christina has participated in veterinary travel abroad programs in Chile, Uganda, and South Africa. She loves to travel and is an adventurer at heart. Christina now lives in Melbourne, Australia and works as a small animal emergency veterinarian. She lives with her partner, a PhD student at Monash University, and they have a pet rabbit named Odette Buns and an old lady kitty named Astrid Jones.
