Emily Dean
Assistant Director of Admissions
Emily grew up in the UK and always had a passion for animals. She was a volunteer at London Zoo, and then she traveled solo around the world at 21 years old, volunteering at different wildlife sanctuaries and having unique experiences from nursing injured flying foxes in Cairnes, Australia to preparing meals for rehabilitated gibbons in Thailand.
She moved to Thailand in 2010 and has lived there since, adopting and fostering many dogs and cats throughout her time there. In her time in Thailand, Emily has been actively involvedĀ in elephant conservation, facilitating events and assisting with research activities. She hopes to go to South Africa one day to visit the Loop Abroad programs there with her son.
