She spent most of her childhood travelling with her family and had visited all 50 states by the age of 13, followed by international travels to Europe, Africa, and South America. She started working in a Veterinary Hospital at the age of 14 and has wanted to be a veterinarian ever since. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Biomedical Science with a minor in Spanish. During her undergrad, she was a member of the Corps of Cadets (an ROTC style leadership organization) at A&M, the Aggie Band, and Parsons Mounted Cavalry (a mounted military horsemanship unit). She worked as a research technician in Veterinary Parasitology, a Resident Advisor, a Veterinary Technician, and as a personal tutor. She is also attending Veterinary School at Texas A&M. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her two cats Pudding and Nugget, going to the gym or running outside, hiking, skiing, and baking.
