Hannah Davis

Costa Rica Support Staff

Hannah is graduating from Michigan State University with a major in Animal Science and a minor in Business. Over the past three years, she has worked at the MSU Dairy Farm, assisting with milking cows and feeding calves. She has also gained experience as a research assistant in product development, focusing on dairy cattle genetics. As a TRIO tutor, she tutored other college students for two years, primarily in math, and has served as a teaching assistant in an animal science class. Additionally, she has gained experience as an uncertified veterinary technician at a small animal hospital for the past three summers. Hannah is interested in large animal medicine, but she is also excited to expand her knowledge of marine and exotic animals this summer. She participated in the Spain Equine Pre-Vet trip through Loop Abroad. Hannah is passionate about working with horses, including training, riding, breeding, and gaining experience in equine medicine. This summer marks her first year working with Loop Abroad in a support staff position, and she is thrilled! This fall, Hannah will be attending the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine, where she looks forward to continuing her education. Originally from the Chicago suburbs, Hannah has two pugs named Vince and Mick. She loves traveling, trying new foods, and playing and watching sports!
