Jade Kingsley BA/BSc, BVSc, PgDip (animal physiology), MANZCVS (Avian Health) Dr Jade Kingsley graduated from the University of Sydney in 2012. She was always passionate about wildlife and to gain further experience, she pursued a number of internships and volunteering positions. These ranged from working at the Wolong Panda Centre in China, The Bronx Zoo in New York, Australia Zoo , elephant hospitals in Sri Lanka and Thailand, and an exotics practice in the Northern Australia. Since graduation, Jade has worked in several exotics and wildlife hospitals, including the RSPCA Wildlife Hospital in Brisbane. Jade enjoys both medicine and critical care of avian and exotic pets and has a soft spot for wildlife, working closely with wildlife care groups. In 2018 Jade completed her membership exams in Avian Health (MANZCVS – Avian Health) and treats all birds small and large, but does enjoy avian paediatrics. Jade currently lives with her partner and two children, as well as a bearded dragon named Alfred and a chocolate Burmese named Wookie. She enjoys travelling to remote areas of the world to treat wildlife and being outdoors, horse riding, rock climbing, kayaking, canyoning and scuba diving.
