Jane Stine, JD, M.Ed
Managing Director
Jane is the co-founder of Loop Abroad. She loves helping students find the perfect Loop Abroad program for them, working to constantly improve current programs, and designing new programs with amazing local organizations around the world.
For her innovative work in program design and her commitment to making study abroad more accessible, she was shortlisted for a 2018 Women in International Education award and nominated for a 2022 She Inspires Women in Leadership Award. In 2022, Jane was selected as one of the Daily Record’s 2022 Leading Women Under 40. Jane is a 2023 Presidential Leadership Scholar.
Before co-founding Loop Abroad, Jane served as a Program Director for high-school national leadership conferences around the US. After earning her law degree at Georgetown University, she pursued a teaching career during which she taught economics, finance, accounting, media ethics, and media law at colleges and universities throughout Massachusetts and authored The Everything Guide to Pre-Algebra.
Jane designed Loop Abroad’s first curriculum while earning her Masters of Education at Harvard University and has consulted on and helped to design leadership curricula for college and high school programs around the world.
Jane has traveled to 102 countries and all seven continents, and she has lived in Costa Rica, Brazil, Nepal, France, the Bahamas, Portugal, and Thailand. She currently lives in Washington, DC with her husband, their son, and Winnie, the world’s best dog.
