Support Staff

Jocelyn grew up in a small mountain town in California called Mammoth Lakes. She received her Bachelors in Animal Science from University of California, Davis, and will now be attending veterinary school. Jocelyn has had amazing employment opportunities through UC Davis, such as working as a student assistant for the animal science department where she got to care for cattle, sheep, goats, and lab animals. At the same time, she was a resident for the swine facility where she lived on-site for two years! During college, Jocelyn had the opportunity to travel with Loop Abroad as a student and expand her knowledge on wildlife conservation and veterinary care of native animals in Australia and Costa Rica. Both of these experiences allowed Jocelyn to learn more about different cultures and appreciate the care that is given to animals all over the world. The experiences with Loop Abroad were truly inspiring and Jocelyn is excited to return to the program to help support the teaching of the next generation of students. When she isn’t traveling or working with animals, Jocelyn loves to snowboard or go on a run through nature.
