Kelcie Glick, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Kelcie Glick got both her Bachelor of Arts degree and her serious love of travel abroad from her time spent as an undergrad at Goshen College. She earned her DVM from Kansas State University, and in between the two, she got her introduction to shelter medicine working as a technician at a Humane Society shelter in northern Indiana. Dr. Glick has lived in 5 states and adventured in several different countries. She does not like the cold, and loves the vibrant variety of plant and animal life in tropical areas of the world. The semester she spent abroad in the Dominican Republic for her undergrad study/service term still ranks as one of the best learning experiences of her life. She loves Thailand, and this will be her second summer teaching for Loop Abroad. When she isn’t adventuring, Dr. Glick lives in Colorado with her husband, two awesome dogs, one very naughty orange cat, 9 poison dart frogs and more orchids than most reasonable people find necessary. She loves books and art. Dr. Glick’s “secret talent” is finding the closest ultimate frisbee game to wherever she is staying. There’s a frisbee in her bag right now.
