Lois Wetmore, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Lois is a graduate of Utah State University and Colorado State University. She is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia and a faculty member at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, Tufts University in North Grafton Massachusetts. Dr Lois did her anesthesia residency at Michigan State University and then moved to Boston where she completed a doctoral program at the T.H. Chan School of Public Health at Harvard University. She then started her faculty position at Tufts in 1992 as the Anesthesia and Pain Management service chief. Dr. Lois is part of the Tufts faculty group that has traveled to Chittagong, Bangladesh to participate in a World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) twinning project developing a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) course for students at Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University. She has a 13-year-old Border collie named Chloe and enjoys traveling outside the US and visiting her son who works in Washington DC.
