Meaghan Haley

Meaghan Haley was born and raised in the state of Rhode Island. She graduated from East Carolina University in December 2022 with her BS in both environmental health and biology. Throughout her undergraduate career she was on the school’s division I soccer team. Upon completion of her undergraduate degree she began working in the field of veterinary medicine as a technician. She then took a job working at a local zoo where she worked with and learned a lot about many different animal species. She is currently a student of veterinary medicine at St. George’s University on the island of Grenada. She intends to become a conservation or zoo veterinarian upon completion of her veterinary program. Part of the reason for this is that she had an incredible experience in Thailand during her first Loop Abroad experience. During her free time Meaghan likes to stay active, play sports and go for runs. She also likes to spend time with her family, friends and pets, watching movies and trying new foods. She is always looking for new adventures!
