She has volunteered her equine skills at facilities across the African continent and is passionate about global veterinary service. An avid international traveler, she has visited 25+ countries in pursuit of veterinary outreach experience, furthering her movement practice, and fostering her wildlife photography hobby. In addition to her veterinary work, she is a trained yoga instructor and has led international wellness retreats for veterinary professionals in wildlife epicenters, integrating mindful movement with the demands of the profession. Dr. T now lives in the Tampa Bay area with her three cats and is active in her local AcroYoga community. She is currently contributing to new research on balancing the human-animal bond with human connection as a means to help alleviate the mental health crisis in the veterinary profession.
