Quintin developed a love for working with animals at the young age of nine growing up on the island of Nassau, Bahamas. He has a passion for all creatures great and small and has worked in various places in the world such as the United States, Canada, Bahamas, and St Kitts and Nevis. He has worked with small animals, exotics, and large animals but his main passion is teaching. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from St.Augustine College in Raleigh North Carolina. He also earned his DVM degree in 2016 from the University of the West Indies located in Trinidad and Tobago. After earning his DVM degree he completed a one-year rotating internship in large animal medicine and surgery at Tuskegee University. After his internship, he taught as a clinical instructor in large animal/food animal medicine at Tuskegee. He has worked for various clinics in the Bahamas and Canada where he dealt with small animals and exotics. He also taught at Ross University in St Kitts and Nevis as a locum veterinarian in large animal/medicine and surgery. He enjoys reading, working out, fishing, and traveling. He lives by one of his favorite quotes by Alexandre Dumas which says “Life is a storm. You will bask in the sunlight one moment he shattered on the rocks the next. What makes you man is what you do when that storm comes. You must look into the storm and shout do your worst for I will do mine”.
