Samantha Quintell-Lenzi
Spain-Portugal Program Leader
Originally from the Chicagoland area, Samantha is a graduate of The Ohio State University where she double majored in International Relations and Spanish Honors. After graduation, Samantha began utilizing her Spanish and Portuguese skills in the tourism and training industries at Walt Disney World. From there, she fused her passion for travel and education by working as a Program Leader for Rustic Pathways’ Summer Camp Leadership program in Costa Rica, an English Teacher with the Auxiliares de Conversación program in Spain, and an English Teaching Assistant with the Fulbright program in Brazil. Currently, she is thrilled to have joined the thriving international community at The Middlebury Institute of International Studies. As a global recruiter, she relies on her extensive background of intercultural experiences to connect with diverse students and support them through the graduate school admissions process. To complement her role and her love of learning, she is also pursuing her master’s in international education management. She is an exercise enthusiast that is incapable of walking past a dog without stopping to say hello. Outside of work you can find her dancing in the kitchen testing out a new pumpkin muffin recipe or belting out Beyonce in the car on her way to grab a cappuccino. Whether here or there, she will be on the move with a big smile. She looks forward to connecting with Loop Abroad participants, and working closely alongside them to ensure every trip includes a little pixie dust!
