Saylor Hart

Group Leader

Saylor is a Virginia Polytechnic Institute graduate with a B.S. in Wildlife Conservation. She traveled to Thailand with Loop Abroad in 2023, and has participated in school-related trips to Panama, the Galápagos Islands, and the Amazon Rainforest. She spent several summers during her undergraduate years working as a wildlife rehabilitation intern, which inspired her to pursue a career in wildlife veterinary medicine. She will begin studying at the Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in the fall of 2025. She has experience working with wildlife, horses, poultry, fish, and small animals. In her spare time, Saylor spends as much time as possible outdoors! Whether birdwatching, tending to her chickens, metal detecting, or going on midnight salamander searches on her farm, she enjoys investigating everything there is to see in nature. She loves to travel, write, paint, and exercise, and is excited for the opportunity to experience more of the world.
