Sophie Graff, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Sophie graduated from the University of Liège in Belgium. She started working in private practice in a rural part of France where she got to work with both small and farm animals. Being a lifelong horse lover, she decided to specialize in equine medicine and traveled to Ontario to do an internship at a private equine hospital which is where she developed her interest in anesthesia. Dr. Sophie then completed a specialized internship and a residency in anesthesia and analgesia at Michigan State University. After these few culturally and professionally enriching years spent in North America, she moved back to Liège to complete a Ph.D. in human medicine on Asthma. She is currently a senior clinician in the companion animal anesthesia department at the University of Liège where she enjoys teaching and sharing her various experiences. Sophie loves traveling, hiking, spending time with her family, and riding her horse – Aries (which followed her in all her adventures from Ontario to Belgium).
