Sydnee grew up in a small town in Ohio. She is attending Penn State Behrend to obtain her bachelor’s degree in Biology pre-health. She will graduate with her bachelor’s degree in May 2025 and has committed to attending St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in August 2025. While working on her degree she volunteers through a program to provide vet checks on stray animals that are being fostered for adoption as well as works at the local zoo. In the summer of 2024, she went on the South Africa Zoo Medicine trip at Lory Park as well as the South Africa Pre-Vet Big Cats trip at Cango Wildlife Ranch. These programs sparked her interest further in working with exotics and wildlife. It also spiked her interest in conservation work for wildlife. She learned a lot from these trips and can’t wait to go back! She has traveled to 12 countries so far and is excited to keep adding to the list. Sydnee loves spending her spare time working out, hanging out with friends and family, traveling, and trying new things.
