Tania Senter

Texas Support Staff

Tania was born and raised in California and graduated from California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo with a B.S. in Animal Science in 2020. While in college, Tania worked as a veterinary assistant at a local small animal hospital and spent the rest of her free time riding and competing with her horse, Petra. She is currently a veterinary student at the University of Minnesota where her focus is on small animal medicine. In vet school, she serves on the board of SIRVS, a club that provides veterinary services to reservation communities in Minnesota, as well as Sled Dog Medicine Club where she gets to help perform health checks on sled dogs during races throughout the Midwest. Tania first traveled with Loop Abroad to Thailand in 2014 and again to Australia in 2018 before leading a group trip with students from her college to Thailand in 2019. She loves to travel and is eager to continue to share her passion for veterinary medicine with other students. During her time with Loop Abroad, she has had opportunities to work with a variety of animals such as elephants, kangaroos, cockatoos, rabbits, dogs, cats, and much more! During her free time, Tania enjoys spending time outdoors with her 2 dogs, Zoe and Meika, doing activities such as hiking and camping.
