Dr. Tina Hansen, DVM MRCVS CVA Tina is Norwegian born and raised and did her veterinary degree in Poland. Throughout her vet school years, she travelled the world and volunteered with all kinds of animals. This includes cheetahs and other wildlife in Namibia, Elephants in Thailand, Lions and other wildlife in Zimbabwe, injured equids in Egypt, stray animals of Zanzibar, animals on a deserted island in the Caribbean, and she did a Wildlife capture & care course in South Africa. She has a profound interest in integrative medicine and pursued her Acupuncture certificate in the last year of vet school on a scholarship from Chi University. She graduated with honors and was nominated by the Vice Dean for “best foreign student in Poland” by inter-student in 2022 and 2023. She has worked in small animal practices around the UK, obtained a marine mammal medic certificate, and recently started a degree in canine nutrition. Fun facts: – She served a year in the military with K9 – One of her favorite jobs before vet school was to be a zoo keeper – She has a boat license but never piloted a boat In her free time, Tina likes to ride horses, travel, volunteer with animals, take pictures, read, and socialize with friends.
