Victoria is a Texas native who inherited a love of both animals and travel from her family. In her childhood she and her family frequently embarked on long summer road trips, exploring the many state and national parks, and museums across the USA. She has also traveled abroad several times, visiting Spain, Budapest, Prague, Austria, New Zealand, Australia, and England. Victoria’s family has always had a small zoo of animals in their home which is what began her interest in pursuing a career in veterinary medicine. In 2025, Victoria graduated from Texas State University where she studied Animal Science with an emphasis on Pre-Veterinary Studies. Through her studies at Texas State, she discovered a love of genetics, reproduction, and animal health. As a Peer Mentor and student organization officer, she was able to hone her leadership skills and loves to connect with students. She also had the opportunity to attend a Loop Abroad program in South Africa where she learned about new facets of the vet med industry, conservation, and met so many amazing people! She has 5 years of experience working in small animal vet clinics and enjoys being able to care for beloved pets and strengthen the human-animal bond between pets and their owners. In her free time Victoria enjoys spending time outdoors; on a hot Texas day you will almost always find her in a body of water. She also enjoys reading and creative writing, and dreams of publishing a novel one day. She has an orange and white cat named Pancake, who is usually stuck to her side like glue.
