Hannah Luu
Australia Support Staff
Hannah grew up in Tennessee and is a student of the University of Tennessee Knoxville. There she completed her Bachelor’s degree in animal science with a pre-veterinary concentration. As an undergraduate student, she worked as a veterinary technician at multiple general practice clinics. She also obtained other animal experiences by volunteering at a local zoo and traveling abroad with Loop Abroad. She has worked with a variety of animals–anywhere from dogs and cats to wolves, tigers, lions, and giraffes! After undergrad, Hannah plans on attending vet school and hopes to become a zoo veterinarian to work with endangered big cats. She is especially interested in helping with conservation after being a participant in the South Africa Zoo Medicine Program through Loop. Hannah loves to travel and experience new cultures and surroundings. She also loves to try new food! She has traveled to Mexico, South Africa and Australia. In her free time, Hannah enjoys being outside, cooking, photography, watching Netflix, and thrift shopping! Her advice to Loop Abroad participants is to check out a local thrift store to find some packing list items for the trip!
