Loop Abroad is proud to announce its “vet squared” initiative, to help make Loop Abroad programs more accessible to active duty military or military veterans of the US Armed Forces. We are committing up to $10,000 in annual funding to program participants joining us from a military background. If you are active duty military or are a veteran, and are considering a career in veterinary medicine, we hope you’ll consider applying to join a Loop Abroad program.
Scholarships of $500 – $1,000 are available for in-person programs. Scholarships of $1,000 – $3,000 are available for select self-paced virtual programs, which can cover the full cost of a virtual program.
Loop Abroad’s co-founder Jane Stine is the granddaughter of two military veterans and, as a member of the Presidential Leadership Scholars class of 2023, is committed to Loop Abroad providing support for members and veterans of our US military.
If you are a veteran or active duty military and are interested in attending a Loop Abroad program, please contact [email protected] for more information on scholarships and support available. Full scholarships are not available for in-person programs – the maximum in-person scholarship available through Vet Squared for an in-person program is $1,000. However, full scholarships may be available for some of our self-paced virtual courses (less any optional college credit).
Please note: Participation in ROTC does not by itself qualify an application for this program.
